Cross Country Finishes Strong at Burlington Meet
The high school and middle school cross country teams crossed the finish line exhausted yet proud of their performance individually and as an unit.
The high school girls, currently ranked at the top spot in the 2A division, placed second overall with juniors Sami Dennon finishing fifth and Sabrina Eicher finishing in eighth.
The high school boys took third place as a team with Junior Henry Nelson placing second amongst all competitors.
The middle school team had an outstanding performance with eighth graders Oona Nelson taking the top spot in the girls' division and Pancho Metz placing fifth in the boys' division.
The high school team will compete at Wamego High School this Saturday, and the middle school team will fight for the top spot Thursday at Lexington Trails.
