MS XC at Wellsville
The Middle School Cross Country team continued its dominance last Thursday with a very successful race at Wellsville. The seventh and sixth grade girls’ race had more than 200 people in it, and Seabury achieved a near-perfect score of 21 points, with the second place team being over 40 points away. The highlights include: Seventh grader Emma Roman-Nose winning the race with a time of 13:14, seventh grader Isabelle Pro getting third and seventh grader Isabel Klish finishing 8th. The boys’ team also had a very strong showing, with ahighlight being sixth grader Xavier Klish finishing 10th.
In the eighth grade race, Oona Nelson finished second in the girls’ division and broke her school record with a 12:46. Additionally, Jacob Hamman and Allison Orozco achieved personal records.
The team is in action again this Wednesday at Tonganoxie.
