Varsity Volleyball Drops Five Set Thriller
The varsity volleyball team lost heartbreaking fashion on Tuesday to Maranatha Academy. The girls, who are currently ranked 4th in Class 2A in the state, dropped the first set 21-25, but were able to respond to winning the second set 25-22. After losing the third set 19-25, they were able to win a tough fourth set 25-21 to force a fifth set. After falling behind early in the fifth, the girls clawed their way back to tie it up, but eventually lost 13-15.
The team will play this weekend at the Olpe High School tourney.
