Debate State
On January 11 and 12, eight Seabury debaters competed in the state debate tournament. The four-speaker team, consisting of sophomores Audrey Nguyen-Hoang, Lyle Griggs, Morgan Orozco and sophomore Joshua Meschke, finished in second place. Orozco, Nguyen-Hoang, and Lyle Griggs went undefeated. Seniors Hilary Griggs and Chloe Akers broke into finals as a two-person team, losing to a 2-1 decision to finish as state runner-ups.
