Seabury Faces Veritas Again
This Friday, Veritas once again held a lead very late in the game, and once again was brutally disappointed in the result. Once again, Sophomore Zach Bloch ended the game with a three to put the Seahawks into the lead at the end. This time, Veritas was down one entering their last possession, and, despite missing their initial shot, corralled the offensive rebound and scored on the putback. This put the Eagles up one with seconds to go. However, Bloch proceeded to dribble down the sideline and overcome heavy coverage to score a three at the buzzer, putting the Seahawks up at the end, 65-63.
