Model UN
Recently, the Bishop Seabury Model UN group traveled to their regional competition. The Ramada Inn in Topeka was the site of the event, and Seabury came and ran the table. They competed against schools across Oklahoma and Kansas and dominated. Sophomore Morgan Orozco won best authorship speech in the political council, Sophomore Lyle Griggs was the third ranked delegate in the security council, Seventh grader Hayden Slough was the 2nd ranked delegate in World Council A, Seventh grader XiangXiang won the best authorship speech in World Council B, sophomore Audrey Nguyen-Hoang was the Vice President of security council, and Senior Hilary Griggs was Secretary General of the whole convention. “We represented this year!” says faculty member Sarah Asher.
