Sub-State Championship
For the second time in the last three years, the Seahawks have won the championship at the substate tournament, beating Maranatha in the championship. Although this is one of the later rounds of the playoffs, and should present a challenge, the Seahawks won handily with a final score of 95-71. This was aided significantly by the sophomore trio of Zach Bloch, Miles Branch and Stavian Jones, who scored 29, 23 and 15, respectively, making them the three leading scorers for the Seahawks. This sends Seabury back to State in Hays this weekend, where they will vie for Bishop Seabury’s first-ever championship.
